Before you answer, or after the result
A pre-assessment places you in a category. These guides explain what that entails, with references to the official sources: useful both to answer with confidence and to make sense of the result.

How to read these tools
Is my data stored or sent anywhere?
No. Your answers stay in the browser and the calculation runs client-side: nothing is sent to a server or to third parties. Only if you choose to receive the report by email at the end do you leave an address — and only then.
Does the result have legal value?
No. It is an orientation estimate built on your answers, useful to understand whether and how much a regulation applies to you and where to start. It does not replace a specific analysis of your real product and documentation.
How accurate are they?
As accurate as the answers you give. The questions follow the classification criteria of the CRA and the AI Act, but a pre-assessment works on categories, not on your specific case: it orients you, it does not settle the matter.
What do I do after the result?
The report points out the key gaps and the recommended next step. To turn it into a plan, the Regulatory Spark is the starting point: 45 minutes, free, with a written summary.
